This a one page load WordPress site that I built for Scott Taylor of Engrain Surfboards. Most know I love surfing and idea of fully sustainable, natural surfboards. Most of the fun of this project was the design. Having taken the photos of his product I had a good understanding of how the site should look.
This was a project I did for Ford Design in 2010. I was hired to design and develop a WordPress website for personal trainer gym in Wilmington NC. The embedded video was the focus of the site. This was implemented with HTML5 video with a default to Flash. If Flash is not available it loads in a still jpg.
This was a fun project to work on. It was one of those projects where you are allowed to just run with it. I spent more time on design then building the WordPress theme around it. The idea around the design was to build a beat up pirate map with a Caribbean feel. The owner loves island hopping so naturally he loved it!
This is the The Wrightsville Beach Marathon event site I design and developed for Quintiles. A fully customized WordPress theme with a unique jQuery slider. The main focus of the site was to have a slider where the background image changes based on the current slide. Some of the photos in the sider are credited to me.
This project was more involved and required deep Flex knowledge. I was hired to convert this widget into XML data driven Flex Application for multiple language localization. This was my first Flex project and learned quite a bit about MXML interfacing and multiple libraries.
I was hired to do an Interactive Flash splash page for MasterCard. This project involved a combination of XML, ActionScript and a bunch of ExternalInterface.addCallback request for an internal analytics. The design was based on MasterCard’s current style guide which featured an Avant Garde ITC Typography.
