Luckily I got to do a hike into the woods with two of my best friends. Denis Schofield and Jamie Byrne. We had a great time hiking the Southern Virginia section of the AT.
Lucky for me I have a friend that shapes wooden surfboards and does a fine job at that. He recently asked me to come up with a concept for his new brand “Engrain Surfboards“. He mainly makes Alaias which are the ancient hawaiian way of making a surfboard. Had much fun with this project.

Got to sneak away from Wilmington for a few days with my buddys Dave and Jeff. We headed up to the Outer Banks to meet Bill for some excellent surf. Great trip some good photos. Click the image to see the Flickr set.
